Sous Chef Hadley |
I have a very small Manhattan kitchen so it's just as well that my sous chef is only a foot tall. She's not been to culinary school but has displayed a great deal of natural talent. For example, she's helpfully pointed out to me that bacon tastes much better than carrots and that the full fat yogurt is far superior to that fat-free stuff I keep trying to push.

The sous chef on her day off |
She's never missed a day of work and is a tireless cleaner. Needless to say, I never have to bend to pick up anything that's fallen to the floor. And, of course, if you hate the idea of left-overs, rest assured that chef Hadley will make sure every morsel of food is consumed the day it's cooked. What a great kitchen helper!
How cute, I just love dog breeds that have such big round eyes! They said that those breeds really know how to use those baby browns to get their way. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sous Chef. I have one too. A hound mix. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteYour sous chef looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! My puppy sous chef likes to lick the extra peanut butter off spoons and bowls. It's perfect because rinsing that in the sink is my least favorite activity :)
ReplyDeleteA great sous chef indeed. No worker compensation insurance, and even with quality food still sub minimum wage and may upstage you from time to time never in a culinary way LOL
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet Sous Chef Hadley. Too cute! I have one to... Beagle. She makes sure she is right there to clean up any crumb. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy kitties enjoy hanging out with me occasionally in my kitchen but I really have to keep them away from the gochujang.
ReplyDeleteI love this post! I too love my furry little sous chef! That drawing is adorable? Did you do this yourself or have it done? I'd love to get one of my little pup!
