Today I have the pleasure of guest posting for my friend Sofie, The German Foodie while she and her family are on vacation. Sofie and I hit it off right away both on email and on the phone. When we finally had the chance to meet in person last April, our bond was sealed! She's smart and fun, has a wicked sense of humor and is one hell of a cook!
For my guest post I wanted to do a little play on a German classic, the apple strudel, but using a much simpler dough and technique for less experienced bakers. The result was just delicious and Brian and I had no trouble polishing off these little dessert cups in no time. So head over to Sofie's blog to see my recipe and while you're there, take a look around at all her other delicious offerings. Enjoy!
