Once upon a time, a Halloween hostess poured her guests a most delicious, yet subtly dangerous beverage. Hidden behind many layers of irresistible chocolate flavor was the fact that the drink was laced with a copious amount of spirits.
The unsuspecting guests fell into a long sleep. Time passed, spiders spun webs and little furry monsters appeared to drink the remains of the potions.
Fortunately, the guests eventually awoke but they had not learned their lesson. They brushed aside the spiders and their webs and continued drinking the dangerous chocolate beverages. They even nibbled on the furry monsters. It was a most delicious Halloween nightmare.

Dip the chocolate truffles into the melted chocolate and dip them into a bowl of chocolate sprinkles. Using a toothpick or tip of a knife, dab two dots of the melted chocolate onto the truffle and attach two candy eyes. Insert a cocktail pick and chill in the fridge to set.
- To make the cocktail, add the bourbon, chocolate liqueur, coffee liqueur, creme de cacao and milk to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, shake well and pour into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the furry chocolate monster. Spider webs and poison spiders optional.
